They mention the "brutalizing" effect this can have on the game's "young male target audience", and note that cruelty to animals has been shown to lead to violence toward people. Everyone knows I'm about as pro-animal rights as you can get for a non-vegetarian (quite conundrum, eh?).. but PETA doesn't do itself any favors by being ridiculous.
