In other news.. I was just looking at a copy of Chiquitas Maximus' green-card, and she's been legal since 1990, and doesn't speak English.
How is it possible to be in a neighboring country for over 20 years and not speak the language? I realize that if I moved to Quebec, and lived only with and around English speakers, it would take a while to learn French.. but I'd learn it.
