An update on the elderly man that froze to death after the electric company turned off his heat.
It looks like he had plenty of money to pay the bill.. had lived in the same house for 50 years and always paid the bill.. and when the electric company turned off the power, they did not knock on the door, but rather they left a note on his door, when it was freezing outside and he never found it.
He appears to have had a deteriorating mental status due to advanced age, and probably didn't understand what was going on.. he slowly froze to death.. He was a World War II veteran.
And the neighbors are upset.
Hopefully this sad situation leads to some forced regulation on the utility company so that this never happens again.
But of course.. the True Evil in the world.. is Teh Gay... not all this shit about ignoring senior citizens while they die, horribly, alone. That's just the natural consequence of some people winning.. and others losing.. right?
