There's no such thing as "bye gones" when it comes to the rule of law in the Federal government.
Investigate, indict, prosecute.. torture, illegal wiretaps, war crimes. FoIA it all, dig for every scrap of illegal activity, and fuck them so hard they'll never walk again.

Tom, I love your blog and also the Rude Pundit is one of my favorites. So, give me some advice, how do I stop reading blogs like your Loon-y Doug and the others. I'm addicted to their ranting for some masochistic reason. What is wrong with me? I just want to bask in the glory of being American again. Advice?
Ya.. I dig RP also.... as one of those people who challenge the idea of what is "proper" in language, while at the same time making rather profound points. In my mind, that idea is the essence of what it means to be human... and is why I do things the way I do them. I could tone it all down, and write the way most people expect... but fuck them.. you know?
I can't give you any advice when it comes to the Loon Brigade. It's like a train wreck that you can't turn away from. Frequently, lunatics like Doug help me make a point, or illustrate exactly how insane they are.. but really.. it's just the gawking factor at this point.
I'm not sure how it's going to play out going forward. I'm starting to get bored of them.. of the Doug Gibbs type crowd.. because it's the same shit over and over, and at this point.. nobody is listening.
I will admit to taking a certain amount of personal satisfaction in seeing them coming unglued.. so I guess that'll keep me occupied for a while.
