Asshat Quote of the Day

"I must say, I'm a little envious," Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."

"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," Bush said.
I suppose he thinks it's "romantic" to have limbs blown off, devastating brain injuries, and other life threatening wounds that nearly 30,000 Americans have sustained in that horrid war..

He's envious, eh? Well, he had his chance.. and he avoided Vietnam. He saw the "exciting" chance to "confront danger" and like Brave Sir Robin, turned and ran away.

And Cheney had 5 deferments to avoid "making history".

And his two military-age daughters?

Sad.. so so sad.. but ultimately frustrating, because Bush is too stupid to understand what he's done.. and with that smirk, will always think he was right, and everyone else is wrong.
