Dilbert Rules

Scott Adams introduced a new character into his comic strip, named Jesus. Naturally, religious freaks think he's being "offensive". It's exactly the same as the Muslim freaks who got bent over cartoon depictions of Muhammad.. however, the depictions of Muhammad were actually of Muhammad.. and portrayed him in a very negative light. If it were socially permissible, Christian leaders would call for Scott Adams death as well.. because it's ultimately all the same.

Here's a letter he received, and his response.. just classic.

Hello! Mr. Adams,
Mr. Adams I just want to tell you that I don’t really appreciate you making a mockery of my faith. I used to think that your comic strip was funny, now I think it is very disgusting and not funny at all. I have found your last comics strips in reference to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ very offensive. There is a place for everything and there is a place for humor and humor has its limits, especially when it comes to those things and issues that some of us hold as sacred. I will pray for you and that some day you may come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Otherwise you will find Him some day as your judge, and He will justly judge you for your sins and whether or not you believe in Hell that day you will believe and you will repent when you see Him face to face, but then it will be too late. Repent from your wicked ways and stop making fun of my Savior.

Thanks for your time.

My response…

Thank you for taking time out from feeding the poor to complain about comic strips. I know Jesus would have played it the same way.

Scott
Oh shit.. his acts of cartooning are going to send him to hell! Fuck!

If your "faith" can't take mocking.. it's not a very good faith.

A Dilbert comic depicting my professional life, here.

And in case you don't do it daily, read Greenwald today. Greenwald does much the same as I, but obviously more effectively, by highlighting what the loons are actually saying.. as opposed to Doug, who makes up an illogical position, says "liberals" support that position, and then criticize it.. which.. you know.. it's lying. He is, after all, a lying fuck.

Anyway.. Greenwald has some fun with some of the craziest shit you can find in the "intellectual" thinkers of the right wing.

I still find it perplexing that any rational human being can read what those loons are saying and not find it certifiably insane.
