The presumption on the right is that there is always "winners" and "losers" in every conflict. Therefore, they insist that the war continue indefinitely because to leave is to "lose", and if we just wish hard enough, eventually the magic pony will materialize and we'll "win".

So, I'm just curious. If one presumes that many people (Americans) will die before somebody figures out there isn't always a "winning" solution, shouldn't there be some consequences for those that were wrong, besides.. you know.. asking for an apology?

Oh that's right. By definition, there can never be any "losing" position. It will have been the liberals fault that we didn't "win", therefore, there will never be any apologies, much less a real reckoning for what they've done.
