What if somebody told you that the money that was earmarked to upgrade/fix the levees in New Orleans had instead been directed to Iraq? What if the engineers in New Orleans had specifically raised the issue of the danger to the city if they failed?
What if one of the largest American cities was washed away, and thousands of people drowned or slowly died because those levees broke?
Would that be grounds for impeaching the President of the United States?
What should be done with this President if all of those things were true? They are true by the way.

The Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert (Republican of course) said this afternoon that New Orleans should not be repaired. It should just be abandoned. This city is some 300 years old. The levees broke and now it's all gone.
