The Establishment Clause

Continuing their assault on our way of life we have this..

ODESSA, Texas - The school board in this West Texas town voted unanimously to add a Bible class to its high school curriculum.
Which, of course, violates the Constitution. I suppose if they had a history class that taught "world religions", then I wouldn't have any problem with that. You know, maybe start with ancient Egyptian religious culture and work your way up to today's BSC fundi's. If they did it without evangalizing, then that would most likely just be a history class, and quite fine. But - you know the Christian's continue to be desperate to warp more young minds, and fill their collection plates. They are simply going to push the new testament in a public school...

It's not surprising it's coming from Odessa. That's a very red-neck, backwater, chevy driving (with gun rack), drunken rage - wife beating, town.
