We're a nation of laws. We don't let individuals make their own decisions about how the laws operate. He broke the law.
I think too many people give Obama the benefit of a doubt over such a thing. He's a Harvard trained lawyer. I would expect Bush, being pretty fucking stupid, to say something like that.. but Obama.. I put that one down to conniving evil.
It is pretty funny that Obama voted to protect telecoms from multiple felonies, and grant a blanket pardon to any and all law breaking committed during the Bush administration.. while making sure the powerless are ruined. It's the same sort of personality trait that doesn't really give a shit about all the human beings that are being killed on a regular basis in varied locations around the world.
Heck, the guy thinks he can just order an American citizen to be assassinated abroad.
I wonder.. hmm... can anyone pick any American President that has been more disastrous than Obama? I could argue that Nixon was far more principled than Obama.. easily.
It's not rhetorical at all.. any President from Washington to Bush jr. I can't imagine any that have been worse.
