Can someone who defends these drone attacks please identify the purpose? Is the idea that we're going to keep dropping them until we kill all the "militants" in that area? We've been killing people in that area at a rapid clip for many, many years now, and we don't seem to be much closer to extinguishing them. How many more do we have to kill before the eradication is complete?
Apparently the latest effort to free the Afghani people (from their lives) included women and children.
The point Greenwald is making is that the "war on terror" is not a zero sum game, and spending a lot of money to kill people doesn't really have much of an effect.. other than turning some men, women, and children into piles of goo.
When will the US Government decide that they've killed enough people? I'm thinking that once they've spent enough money buying the weapons, then we can end the war. It is, after all, the corporations that supply the military that run our war machine.
Does anybody give a shit? I mean.. besides the family members of the people that are blown to bits.
How nice.. the Libyans are going to get to enjoy the American freedom bombs as well.. courtesy of the Worst President Ever.. who still needs to be impeached and convicted for starting a war without Congressional approval.
Oh wait.. the UN said it was okay or something. Never mind.
