I remember, at some point in the last 2 years, I wrote that the silver lining in Al Gore wining, but not winning, the 2000 election is that it enabled Obama to run in 2008.

John just walked in the door.. he was in a car accident... rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light by some jackass who was dialing his cell phone. He's okay, but headed to the ER to get checked out.
Causing an accident involving John is a bad idea. He knows how this shit works... pictures of everything.. witness contact info.. lawyers.. the whole bit. I figure 6 figures will be nice.
