Refer Madness

TROPHY CLUB, Texas - Administrators at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club suspended a 16-year-old boy on Tuesday because his eyes were bloodshot and they thought he might have been smoking marijuana.

The teen said he was not high. Instead his eyes were red because he had been grieving the loss of his murdered father.

Kyler was allowed to return to class after he showed school administrators a copy of his negative test results.

The teen’s mom still wants an apology from administrators and she wants the district to remove the suspension from his permanent record. She is in the process of appealing it.

“We had other things to do this week than worry about a three day window for an appeal, a two hour window for a drug test and my son’s reputation and high school career,” she said.

That's rather unbelievable.

When I was a junior in high school, I had a photography class as an elective. We used to get high in the dark room because it already smelled like chemicals and had a venting hood to the outside. It was nice that you could lock the door because opening it would spoil negative development.

We even stored the pot in those small plastic film containers.

People my age are now running these schools, and they're out of control with the way they insist on controlling the kids. Most parents are out of their minds with the excessive control on the kids. We were all stoners back in the day.. virtually every last person.. and now we're trying to raise a bunch of perfectly behaving kids? It just ends up creating a bunch of zombies.

You're supposed to be stupid when you're young. You're supposed to smoke pot and have pre-marital sex. You're supposed to learn a bunch of things that they don't teach in classrooms, and stupid fucking parents and school administrators are fucking that all up.

Turns out, Columbine had the same exact effect as 9/11. Go figure.
