The 'Duh' Files

Confirming what we already knew, the Dallas Cowboys are, indeed, America's Team... as in.. the most popular NFL franchise.

Not surprisingly, the survey confirms that America's team is, in fact, "America's Team," as in the Dallas Cowboys. In the final ranking, they were a stunning 23% more popular than the No. 2 team, their old rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Giants were next, followed by three of the four teams in the NFC's North division: the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers and the Vikings.

In other 'Boys news, Miles Austin got his fat contract. It's something like 54 mil for 6 years. Good for him. He's a genuinely nice guy, and I think that he's going to have a solid year. Maybe he doesn't turn routine plays into touchdowns again this year, but he's going have a good year.. maybe probowl, but "solid" works for me.

Marc Columbo is taking longer to heal up from his knee scope then originally forcast. Looks like Alex Barron is going to start at right tackle on Sunday.

Good start to the season with the Viking's losing. I'm thinking they don't make the play-offs.. or maybe their start is so bad that Farvre gets benched by weak 5.
