Time Warner Cable Sucks

So.. my local network is saturated and primetime hours are a travesty. This happens a couple times a year, lasting a few weeks at a time. It's been like 2 weeks so far.

I could contact their local support, but they'd tell me to reboot my cable modem and router.. meaning.. they're useless and don't understand networks.. so I don't bother. I just wait until one of the network engineers notices what's going on.

They truly do suck.. bad.

Hop IP Address Host Name Sent Recv RTT Av RTT Min RTT Max RTT % Loss

1 192.168.0.1 [Unknown] 65 65 0ms 0ms 0ms 2ms 0%
2 76.183.96.1 cpe-76-183-96-1.tx.res.rr.com 65 65 87ms 62ms 9ms 228ms 0%

First hop outside my router should be <10ms.

Oh.. and I'm paying extra money for the higher bandwidth.. which is clocking in at an unstable 2mb/s right now.

Back to the track.. vroom vroom

BTW.. the Nissan GT-R is a great drive in the game. WTB (bday coming before long)

The GTR is a monster of a machine.

ISP support in general is rubbish but that sounds exceptionally poor.

Ya.. the GTR is pretty spectacular.. something like 88k +tax... with performance comparable to much higher priced super cars... and the interior is top notch as well.

Thinking about it.. I'd take one over a Z06. I've thought it would always be better to have a manual transmission but the way the GTR's transmission works sounds cool.

Anyway.. just day dreaming about cool cars. I will get one someday.. :)

The GTR is quicker round a track than a 911 Turbo, its crazy good value (relatively speaking).

The transmition stuff is pretty hardcore, being tailor made to each individual engine.
