Religulous
John and I watched Bill Maher's documentary Religulous over the weekend. It was both a laugh riot and maddening. It was maddening in the sense that it's hard to believe people can be that dumb, but for most of the movie, it's more or less just point and laugh at The Loon Brigade. The scenes at the Jesus theme park were the best.. The re-enactment of the crucifixion is a must see! It wasn't all about the crazy Christians though.. there were plenty of crazy Muslims and crazy Jews as well. The religion of the Dutch pot-head was quite amusing as well.
It's not always a good idea to stereotype a certain class of people.. but if you watched the movie with the sound turned off, you'd laugh just as much at the absurdity that is religion.
I had this idea that we could travel to the world's holiest shrines, where I could dress up in the local garb, and John could take a picture of me giving the middle finger.. where it would be all strung together for a video to post on Youtube.
I think that would be fun.

oh come on.. Lol. Just the middle finger? Live a little dangerously!
You could have John and Tom do Mecca. Followed by the sequel: John and Tom do the Wailing Wall.
I'll throw that movie in my torrent queue tonight :) sounds like a hoot.
I enjoyed the movie also. The Jebus scene was my favorite as well.
Best quote
Jebus: "Bill, what if you're wrong?"
Bill: "What if you're wrong?"
