I bought an Infiniti G35 coupe in October '03, but I was seriously considering a 350Z. I chose the Infiniti because of it's enhanced refinement. The Z was sparse in the interior, and rather lackluster in technology.

The '09 370Z is an entirely different animal. Horsepower is increased to 332. The performance is virtually identical to a Porsche Cayman S. It has a rev matching standard transmission, which automatically blips the throttle to the perfect rev on down shifts. The interior is stellar, with top shelf navigation system, sound system (with XM) and hard drive for music storage, plus all the other electronics you'd expect from a fine Japanese car.. (push button start, etc.) Color combinations are also greatly enhanced from the previous Z, with a number of design improvements. It just looks hot.

Completely pimped out.. $40k. I paid $42k for my G35, and this new Z is superior by far. Looks like my G is worth $13k on a trade now.. yow

It's not a Corvette ZO6, and nowhere in the same league as a Turbo 911, but it's certainly a remarkable car for the price.
