WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, campaign officials said, effectively ending her bid to be the nation's first female president... and now we're going to have a black President.. who sort of smokes, and struggles with quitting.. but has a good jump shot.. can speak English.. with eloquence.. and best of all, a good plan for moving the country forward. I hope one of the conditions of Clinton conceding is that Obama adopt her health care plan. It's just better.
The former first lady will stop short of formally suspending or ending her race in her speech in New York City. She will pledge to continue to speak out on issues like health care. But for all intents and purposes, the two senior officials said, the campaign is over.
Most campaign staff will be let go and will be paid through June 15, said the officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to divulge her plans.
Isn't it amazing.. a country founded on the exploitation of race, torturing and murdering Africans at will.. not even considering them human in the original Constitution.. is now going to have one as it's President.
In 7 short months.. the world will change. I'm not one to be sappy about politics, or worship in the cult of personality... but this is a really big deal.
Holy Christ.. a President that's smarter than me.. It's been sooooo long.

The Clinton supporters flip out.
Nobody has ever claimed that there aren't really stupid people on the "left". In this case, Clinton supporters claim that somehow, she was cheated out of the nomination, despite the DNC bending over backwards to award her delegates that even her campaign agreed were off the table when the process started.
The insane rage of these people, hallucinating some injustice done to Clinton, is causing them to vote for John McCain.. simply out of spite. They know that it will lead to more death and destruction in Iraq. They don't care. It's all about their insane worship of Clinton, and they don't care that Obama actually won the primary.. or that McCain is simply Bush's 3rd term.
Left blogsvania seems to think we need to reincorporate those people back into "vast left-wing conspiracy".. but I don't know. We want to build a reason and reality-based party.. and those people are nothing more than the left's version of the Right Wing Loons.
From the begining, I thought all the Democratic candidates were great.. all capable of being very good presidents. I really didn't mind who it was. At a certain point, when Obama started pulling ahead, I was not pleased to see the tactics of the Clintons.. and began to favor Obama, but not so much because of the negativity of the Clintons (it was a part of it), but more because of the positivity of Obama.
At this point.. I'm glad he won.

I'm pretty god damn sure that Obama won't be doing this...

Fuck me..
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Barack Obama edged closer to capturing the Democratic presidential nomination on Tuesday amid speculation that Hillary Clinton will soon drop her historic White House bid.
The Clinton campaign denied a report that the New York senator would say on Tuesday night -- after final voting in a grueling primary season -- that Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination.
Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told CNN the former first lady was "absolutely not" conceding the campaign and said The Associated Press report was completely incorrect.
"The nomination fight goes on until somebody gets the magic number and that isn't there today and that is not at all what Senator Clinton is going to talk about tonight," McAuliffe said.

She's fucking Michael Myers in a pant-suit.

How long before Doug declares that the only reason why Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee is because he's black? After all, Rush Slimebaugh has set the table for the rest of the loons..
On the June 2 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio program, while discussing Sen. Barack Obama's presidential candidacy, Rush Limbaugh asserted that the Democratic Party was "go[ing] with a veritable rookie whose only chance of winning is that he's black."
