LBM is still spamming my blog comments.. every single day... and I'm deleting them all off. It's really funny.. The Blogger interface is rather nice. You can hit a button to "select all" and then "delete" - so it's not like it takes more than a couple seconds to make everything he wrote go away..

I am open to negotiations. Surely it isn't doing you or your blog any good - now I have effectively closed down the free comment part of your blog.

And there's the troll for you.. and he keeps sending me messages about how he can make my blog a great success.. He's even got a "3 point plan" - I shit you not..

1. Shorten your posts - they are way too long.
2. Expand your topics. You are very repetitive and need to find 'fresh grass'.
3. Allow free and open comments. Even if you go mad at the comments, it's what the public come for - to see debate and argument.

Books are too long as well, eh? Glenn Greenwald usually writes just one post a day, and they are massive.. and he's one of the most popular bloggers on the planet.

This is my blog - I write about what I want.

I don't care what the "public comes for"... Andrew Sullivan is one of the top bloggers in the world (in terms of visitor counts), and he has no comments at all.

And finally.. I don't care what the traffic on my blog is.. I don't care if 1 person reads it, or 10 million a day. I really, really, really, don't give a shit how many people read it.

But some do.. and some like it.. and that's cool. Everyone but LBM is welcome to say whatever they want and I'll approve the message ASAP. However, there's never been much in the way of comments on my blog... and that's fine.. again, this blog is for ME, and if it doesn't get any visitors or any comments, that's fine.

I find the whole thing quite entertaining. I'm pretty sure that the year and a half that LBM was gone, he was institutionalized. I've only shown a small sliver of what he's spamming.. with this weird, desperate, plea to be heard.

I just delete them all off.. most of them without even reading.

Hmmm.. maybe I'll just take the hit counter off the blog. I just added it so I can see where people are coming to my blog from.. if there's links from other sites, so I can see what they're saying.. that sort of shit. The actual numbers, I don't give s shit about.

Classic.. just about 3 minutes after I posted this, I got 2 more messages from LBM.

Tom, what i sent you was confidential. I would prefer it if you refrained fom calling me a spammer and troll - or you may find you are on the end of a writ for defamation of character. I'd quite happily fly to Houston to represnt myself in your courts and see you humiliated. LBM

This is Brad from arkansas. I think you should give this LBM guy a break. He makes good points, is obviously intelligent and provides you with a challenge. I love the banter! Maybe you're not man enough to take him on man to man. I guess it's your blog, and you can't afford to be prooved too wrong.
