It's rather odd, this fixation on creating baseless smears that the right wing constantly uses in politics. We've seen Doug do it.. the whole Faux News treatment. Remember that ALL-CAPS slime-fest? He posted that approvingly..

The question I have - and I would dearly love for Doug to answer it.. because Sean Hannity sure as fuck is not going to.. Why do you do that?

What's the deal with highlighting Barack Obama's middle name?

What's with the pictures of him in traditional African garb?

I mean.. just why? Are you inherently dishonest that way? I ask that rhetorically, of course. They are, after all, only interested in propaganda.. and I laugh and laugh when Doug says something like this;

He's one of the few liberals I talk to that discusses the issues, rather than being in attack-mode twenty-four/seven like some that I know.

Wouldn't it better to criticize Obama's policy positions? You know.. the ones he actually holds? You can go to Obama's web page, to see what his positions are. Maybe write a thoughtful post on why he's wrong? I've linked directly to his issues page.

But, this Doug Gibbs, Faux News type baseless slandering has clearly lost it's effect. If that's all they've got, this election is going to be cake.

For fucks.. sake. Doug just posted a video attacking Obama for not, as the video describes "voting to expand the death penalty for gang murders".

Gang murders are somehow different than regular murders?

The video goes on to claim that because of Obama's purported opposition to whatever the fuck that video is claiming - "when the time came to get tough, Obama chose to be weak".

Are they all a bunch of fucking apes that just want to solve problems by "getting tough" and killing more people? Ya.. that'll solve all the issues. I suppose anyone opposed to the death penalty is unqualified to be president, including all the Catholics..

I swear to god, I can't imagine how stupider these people can be.. baseless innuendo.. insisting on emasculating every Democrat.. and continually playing on people's fears that we're all going to die if we don't "get tough".. Get tough? What the fuck?
