Qualified Tollerance

Mitt Romney today;

"I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the savior of mankind," he said. While conceding Mormons have different beliefs about the earthly presence of Jesus Christ, "each religion has its own unique doctrines and history. ... Religious tolerance would be a shallow principle indeed if it were reserved only for faiths with which we agree."

Mitt Romney a couple weeks ago.

‘ ... based on the numbers of American Muslims [as a percentage] in our population, I cannot see that a Cabinet position would be justified. But of course, I would imagine that Muslims could serve at lower levels of my administration,’”

And apparently he's proud that he's not a bigot;

I'm very pleased that, among my Cabinet members, for instance, I had several African-American individuals.
