Teh Stupid - It Burns!

I know that by now, I really shouldn't be surprised to hit Teh Loon's blog and see some of the dumbest writing to be found on the Internets.

It really has to be seen to be believed...

The post is one of Doug's garden variety "omg Teh Mexicans are taking over" rants, but he bitches about yours truly as well.. in a way that beats simple logic like a 20 year old Mike Tyson in the ring with Bill Gates.

I was recently misquoted, as I often am, by a liberal blogger named Tom, who seems to enjoy commenting here even after he has been asked not to. He wrote on August 20th of this year that I say it's not a "racial" issue BECAUSE my wife is of Mexican heritage, and then goes on to ask questions about her parent's legality, etc.

As anyone can plainly see by reading any of my posts regarding Doug, I copy/paste his writing directly. In fact, copy/pasting is the definition of quoting, and it's impossible to misquote someone when.. you know.. you're copying and pasting their own words!

But, even better, Doug goes on to paraphrase what I wrote on Aug 20, right after accusing me of misquoting him.

The stupidity that it takes to do that is breath taking. And, I know that Rick likes to come to Doug's defense as a "friend", which is cool and all, but how can any reasonably sane human being read Doug's post and think "that's fair!".

That's right.. Douglas V. Gibbs is entitled to continually paraphrase, not quote, not link, and mischaraterize, in post after post after post.. but the people who DO directly QUOTE him are actually.. magically.. somehow twisting the laws of physics by misquoting him with his own fucking words!

Jesus Christ.. Doug.. you've sunk to a new low of stupidity big guy..

Sure.. I'm glad that your wife's parents immigrated legally - and it was simply a question that I asked.. and if you had QUOTED me, it would have all been obvious why I asked.

Still, there's a couple of paragraphs from that Aug 20 post of mine that are still relevant;

Lets agree that illegal immigration is illegal and that laws should be enforced. I don't see anything in Doug's post about actually enforcing the laws. All he does is froth about the evil of illegal immigration without, you know, actually writing anything substantive about fixing the issue.

Here's an idea for you assholes. Write something like, "we need to hire 10,000 additional police officers and assign them to the task of arresting and deporting illegal immigrants". Doug adds a new spin to the old story, worthy of the RWL blog.

Unfortunately, not all data and sources document the true danger of the Mexican immigrant. The dominant attitude in that particular group is rarely documented, and never spoken by the mainstream media. This attitude is that they are not only coming here to find work, but to take the American Southwest back for Mexico. And how do they plan to do this? By sheer numbers.

Yes, Doug boldly goes there. He says what other "politically correct" people are afraid to say. Yes, the Mexicans are fucking their way to taking back the American South West. Who needs bombs, when you've got babies?!? It's a brilliant strategery that we could employ in Iraq. All we do is take a couple million horny young people and ship 'em over to Iraq. Surge on!

Doug - I challenge you to find anything about the immigration debate where I refer to you as a racist.

And, the final question, because I just need to be consistent. Could you please stop lying, and when referring to me, quote me directly in context with a link? No?

Last Friday, I wrote a post about Doug's constant use of "innuendo with implied meaning". Doug wrote;

We are slowly evolving into a society embracing ideas that have been historically proven to fail, and to accept the slow invasion by enemies that are telling us as they merge into our society that it is their goal to destroy our society as we know it.

I mentioned that I would ask on his blog what his "solution" to that problem is.

It turns out, Doug was referring to illegal immigrants. I guess I was thrown off by the use of the word "enemies". I don't recal many people using that word to describe illegal immigrants, so it seemed to me that he was referring to Islamic immigrants.

And Rick wonders why I call Doug a shitty writer? Write what you mean for crying out loud. You can't just write paragraphs using pronouns only and expect people to understand what the fuck is going through that warped mind of yours.

For fucks sake.. basic rules of English grammar for you stupid fucks;

In linguistics and grammar, a pronoun is a pro-form that substitutes for a noun or noun phrase with or without a determiner, such as you and they in English. The replaced phrase is the antecedent of the pronoun. A pronoun used for the item questioned in a question is called an interrogative pronoun, such as who.

It's obvious Doug doesn't like me commenting on his posts over at his blog. I go to great pains to make them as innocuous as possible, yet he still is bothered. I suspect the truth is that he doesn't much care for me making him look like an ignorant tool over and over. There's a simple way to fix that. Have me edit your posts, just like the English teacher with the red pen. You won't like it at all, but it would raise the level of your writing by forcing you to learn the basic rules, as well as force you to actually say what you mean.

Seriously.. all I did was ask how I'm quoting out of context by quoting your actual words, in total, and how you're being fair by not quoting me, or linking and completely mischaracterizing what I wrote. And you still, somehow, feel the need to delete it?

You really have no argument.. do you? You can't see that you're nothing but a coward who can't even debate a "libtard"? Are you that afraid? I think it's more likely that you truly don't like being made out to be such a tool with my "trickery" and voodoo magic that somehow changes the meaning of everything that YOU write.

Maybe it is time to move on to a less dishonest and cowardly debate opponent.
