Teh Loon Lying - Surprised?

I know I'm not.

Doug froths again.. about how we're going to be praying to Mecca and our wimmens will be forced to wear Burkas. I know.. that's nothing new. We're used to seeing the pee stain spreading on the front of his trousers. However, it wouldn't be a Doug post without totally making shit up and lying.

Doug claims, without substantiating it at all, that the "surge" is "working". He bemoans "cut and runners" - you know.. like Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff;

WASHINGTON -- The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is expected to advise President Bush to reduce the U.S. force in Iraq next year by almost half, potentially creating a rift with top White House officials and other military commanders over the course of the war.

Administration and military officials say Marine Gen. Peter Pace is likely to convey concerns by the Joint Chiefs that keeping well in excess of 100,000 troops in Iraq through 2008 will severely strain the military. This assessment could collide with one being prepared by the U.S. commander in Iraq, Army Gen. David H. Petraeus, calling for the U.S. to maintain higher troop levels for 2008 and beyond.

Petraeus is expected to support a White House view that the absence of widespread political progress in Iraq requires several more months of the U.S. troop buildup before force levels are decreased to their pre-buildup numbers sometime next year.

Pace's recommendations reflect the views of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who initially expressed private skepticism about the strategy ordered by Bush and directed by Petraeus, before publicly backing it.
Why does Gen. Pace hate our troops? Why is the White House saying there is a lack of political progress? Are they all defeatist? We're SURRRGGGGINGGG!!!!

Then, Doug tries to pin the recent criticism of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on the "liberal media"... without.. you know.. substantiating any of it.

The Liberal mainstream media has decided that since the military successes in Iraq keep piling up faster than they can handle they must begin chopping at the political end of the deal. In other words, do what they can to destroy the integrity of the government led by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, as well as hammer on the weaknesses of the fledgling democracy.

Has the Liberal media lost their minds? Or forgotten the lessons of history for that matter?
Actually.. this recent spat of Maliki resignation calls is.. interestingly enough.. being instigated by former Bush administration officials now working as lobbyists. They are getting paid to do this.

CNN. and other media have been investigating;

A powerhouse Republican lobbying firm with close ties to the White House has begun a public campaign to undermine the government of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, CNN has confirmed. . . .

A senior Bush administration official told CNN the White House is aware of the lobbying campaign by Barbour Griffith & Rogers because the firm is "blasting e-mails all over town" criticizing al-Maliki and promoting the firm's client, former interim Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, as an alternative to the current Iraqi leader. . . .
This is coming from the the Republicans.. not the "liberal media".. Much more info on the conservative effort to destabilize Maliki can be read here.

Doug is, as usual, a lying fuck.. without substantiating anything he writes.

This is reason #438 why he won't debate me. It's my "trickery" in sourcing my information. That's not playing fair.

Hell of an argument Rick.. LOL

I mean.. is anything I wrote not correct, and would your care to point it out specifically?

Oh.. "rules of engagment". I'm still curious. Were you making that whole thing up, or were you just lying?
