Song of the Day
Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There's always some reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees
In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

Beautifully written, I assume it is yours. based on the final line I can only say that missing a loved one can be painful. I may not be able to relate specifically, but I understand what it is like to miss a loved one that is gone from this Earth. You are in my prayers.
Actually.. it's a song called Angel From Sarah McLachlen.. The bar on the right has a player for the song.
I might as well explain.. My nephew was 32 years old.. former Army soldier (M1A1 tank commander) who took is own life a year ago on the 25th. Nobody knows why.
It really is a personal thing but I thought I would post a rememberance on the blog.
you are also in my thoughts and prayers. losing someone close is never easy and never forgotten. i know this pain oh so well. if there was more i could do to make he pain fade i would. all i can suggest is remember the good times you've had and hold on to them.

I miss him too!
