I'm back now after shooting a combined 371 in 3 rounds. :)
Broke three clubs while I was out there, probably because the whole set was < $200, but when you're shootin in the 120s it's hard to spend a lot on clubs. :)
Just now gettin caught up on your blog and scott adams. :)
Did you break the clubs through normal playing, or did you get angry and HULK SMASH the shit out of them?
Because I totally understand the HULK SMASH. Speaking of that, anyone want a lopsided racquetball racquet? Went on the market as of about 6:30 last night. Always thought those fuckers would crack or break instead of bend, but it looks like I was wrong.
Yeah, my 4 and 5 irons, the heads just flew off when I hit the ball.
And it's not like I duffed a bunch of grass either, my 4 iron broke on a beautiful 200 yard shot that landed on the back of the green. The head pry went 30 yards. :)
5 iron was similar. 3 wood broke just barely putting presure on it waiting to tee off.
Like I said, cheap clubs.
I did have one real nice shot though. Chipped one in from about 30 yrds out. Looked like a pro shot it. :)
All in all it was a good trip, although i'm down 3 clubs and about 15 balls. :)
Hopefully I'll get better as the season goes on, I was hittin around 110 at the end of last year, so I'll start with gettin it back down there, then shoot for under 100 by the end of the year.
