SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Republican Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record) on Tuesday accused former President Clinton, the husband of his potential 2008 White House rival, of failing to act in the 1990s to stop North Korea from developing nuclear weapons.I would remind that dipshit from Arizona that the North Korean's did not detonate a nuclear weapon during Clinton's administration, and I would also remind the shit-for-brains that it's been 6 fucking years since the Chimpanzee took office and they have done NOTHING about North Korea, with the possible exception of calling them an "axis of evil".
"I would remind Senator (Hillary) Clinton and other Democrats critical of the Bush administration's policies that the framework agreement her husband's administration negotiated was a failure," McCain said at a news conference after a campaign appearance for Republican Senate candidate Mike Bouchard.
"The Koreans received millions and millions in energy assistance. They've diverted millions of dollars of food assistance to their military," he said.
Remember this shit when McCain runs for President, and the press starts fawning and calling him a "straight shooter".
Fuck you John McCain.. you're a disgrace.
Oh.. and apparently the nuke was a dud, at least according to this. It's possible it wasn't even a nuclear detonation.

We need to consider any nuclear tests and missile tests over Japan as acts of nuclear agression and respond accordingly with nuclear weapons - and then take the consequences.
Otherwise, any third rate nation with any sense will develop nuclear weapons for their benefits of defence and deterance against interference from the USA and outside world.
We need to take the same attitude with Iran - and should have followed the same course with Pakistan, India and possibly Israel. Although Israel is a special case, as it is effectively placed within a 'den on rabied wolves'.
You are a seriously disturbed individual and I'm very pleased that you have no influence in political matters.
Hey, what do mean the Bush Administration hasn't done anything? They gabe them 95 millin dollars back in 2002.

All that money had to go to good causes, right?
I dont understand your course of arguement here Tom.
Mcain says the Clintons gave them nuclear technology for energy, and they used it to build nukes.
You say, that they didnt detonate a nuke during Clintons term in office.
What does that have anything to do with it?
He says that they have diverted millions of dollars of funding to nuclear programs instead of helping their people eat.
You say: Well, the Bush Administration hasnt done anything.
None of these points directly corelate at all. You dont refute anything he is saying, you just make seperate points.
I'm not trying to be a dick, as I have become more and more dissillousned (sp?) with McCaine myself. Anyone who hugs Jerry Fallwell is a bastard imo.
I guess im just asking for square off refutation.
As far as the nuke/dud thing goes, I know they registered a wave here in Montana at the Montana School of Geology and Mines at Butte that was ~4.5.
The point is I'm tired of these assholes blaming every negative world event on Clinton.
The estimate on the yield was less than a kiloton... it doesn't mean there wasn't a detonation, but since most first tests are around 20 kilotons, it would seem there was a problem. A chemical detonation could have been the cause also.
And my argument is, that although you think I am extreme in my views, I believe that your choice of the weak/easy option will lead to Korea and Iran having nuclear weapons; has already led to India and Pakistan having them; and will lead to many other nations having them too - maybe Cuba, Syria, Venezuela - and it will all be the fault of people like you who refuse to face the tough decisions that need to be taken.
I think it will take a nuclear war between India/Pakistan, Iran/Israel, N Korea/USA on behalf of S Korea/Japan for you to finally see that your avoidance of a tough stance will just delay and worsen the final outcome.
Allowing N Korea and Iran to acquire these weapons with no military consequence, while invading non nuclear iraq and afghanistan sends a clear message that going nuclear is the best option for any third rate country that wants immunity from outside interference.
