Heart



From the NYC vigil held to commemorate the execution of the two teens in Iran a year ago, which I referenced a few posts below.

It's very hard for me to not advocate the mass murder of religious extremists. When I come across stories like this, the anger is unbelievable. I lived through the AIDS epidemic when a lot of people I knew didn't, and people were treated like lepers. The oppression from the religious is nearly unbearable.

That's why I can have some sympathy for the Palestinians, and other marginalized minorities. I know what motivates a person is all a matter of ones point of view, or who you are, and where you are at, at what point in time.

Perhaps there never will be any just and enlightened mankind. We don't appear to be wired for it.
