"These founders literally helped build our country. They chopped the wood, they built the homes, they tilled the fields, and they reaped the harvest. They raised children of others, even though their own children had been ripped away and sold to strangers."Chimpy giving a speech to the NAAPC.
Can you fucking believe that? Not only is he congratulating their ancestors for being slaves, he calls them "founders"! LOL
Allow me to translate -
"Yo biatches.. you muthafuckas built dis shit."

I didn't really find anything wrong with that. As much as "chimpy" as you call him drives me completely batty when allowed to speak from the hip, I think he has very good speach writers. Now I can't sit down and watch the man talk, because it's just totaly mind numbing to hear his voice, but reading his speaches is a bit easier than listening to them.
All that being said though. (i'll admit I didn't get through the whole speach, it's freakin long) But this part stood out to me.
I want to talk about ways to build what the NAACP has always sought -- a nation united, committed to destroying discrimination and extending to every American the full blessings -- the full blessings -- of liberty and opportunity. (Applause.) It's important to me. It's important to our nation. I come from a family committed to civil rights. My faith tells me that we're all children of God, equally loved, equally cherished, equally entitled to the rights He grants us all.
What he meant was, we're all equal as the good book defines us. If the bible says you're a sinner, then your equal rights go right out the window.
Steve.
