Indicted

That's a great word, isn't it? During my somewhat absence, Korak has been good to Democrats.

Tom DeLay got indicted not once, but twice.

The new Supreme Court nominee is at least friendly to gays, and umm.. she's 50 something.. never been married, and hasn't dated a man in like 30 years.

Can you say lesbian? Sure - I knew you could..

There is tons and tons of weird things about that pick, but it's fantastic the way the bat-shit crazy people are frothing because she's not a psychopath. Now, apparently the legal community thinks she's just a meh lawyer, but hey, they can't all be as sharp as Roberts, right?

But wait, there's more. John at Americablog has picked up on an unusual trend, and thinks something huge is about to happen in Plame-gate.

I just talked to a source who told me that Karl Rove has been missing from a number of recent White House presidential events - events that he has ALWAYS attended in the past. For example, Rove was absent from yesterday's presidential press conference to promote Harriet Miers. These are the kind of events Rove ALWAYS attends, I'm told, yet of late he's been MIA each and every time.

My source tells me that the scuttlebutt around town is that the White House knows something bad is coming, in terms of Karl getting indicted, and they're already trying to distance him from the president.

Oh, Korak, you've been so good to us lately. Please give us this one more.
