Ugh

Biting my tongue.. the winger at the place I'm often at is blaming the mayor of NO and the governor of LA... the administration is in full spin mode.. the newspapers are reporting anonymous sources in the administration, and passing on bald faced lies... and it seems I was a bit premature in declaring the neocon movement dead.

The administration will have another setback when they drain the city and start counting up the number of dead.. but you've got to hand it to them.. they are consistent. Karl Rove has developed a game plan that seems to work in any situation. Lie about it, and spin, the media will report it, and soon people will forget.

It's all pretty remarkable when you think about it. There's been so much more going on, and many scathing editorials.

And the winger said, "maybe this is just natural selection".. and I wanted to hit him so hard that he'd feel it for the rest of his miserable dumb-fuck life..

I know I said I wasn't going to have conversations related to this disaster at this place anymore, but it's hard to resist when I over-hear total bullshit. I will do better in resisting.

Rove is also pulling out his other tactic. Smear anyone who criticizes. People are slowly starting to catch on.

Natural selection?! You should have kicked that bastard in the balls and said "select this". When Bush drags his feet (with levee funding before and timely aid after) and kills thousands that isn't natrual selection - that's murder.

I use the phrase "the place that I'm often at" for some reason. It makes me think I have plausible deniability in case somebody at the place I'm often at sees my blog, and I wrote about somebody who is often at the place that I'm often at.

Bush is ultimately responsible for the actions of the Federal Government. The nations waterways and infrastructure are the responsibility of the federal government. It's common knowledge (I can dig up links if I need to) that funding had been reduced, redirected to Iraq, and it had been known that the levees would not sustain a cat 4+ hurricane.

Not to mention that Bush owes his existence as prez on his promise to keep america safe, and it's odd how that doesn't seem to be the case.

Bush is also ultimately responsible for the woeful federal response to the disaster.

He's also responsible for staying on vacation after the hurricane struck.. for Cheney staying on vacation.. for Rice going on vacation (apparently she likes Monty Python and expensive shoes).

He's just an idiot.. but then this is nothing new. The mid-terms should be fun.

Oh.. and ya.. kicking him in the balls so hard he'd piss blood for a week would be good. But then, I'm a good non-violent liberal..

He's got short-man complex, if you know what I mean.
