Vroom

So gas prices are pretty whacked, aren't they? I use premium in my G35, and it costs about $2.80/gallon. I try making it seem reasonable by filling the tank often. Yesterday the needle was half way between 1/2 and 3/4, so I filled it up, and it still cost $17. Pretty nuts if you ask me. But then, my car only gets 18 miles per gallon.

So.. I only live about 4 and a half miles from work.. and I could use something that gets better mileage.. you know.. I could use it to run to the corner store and all that instead of taking my car.. Hmmmm.. and I've always wanted a BMW to go along with my Infiniti...

** update **

I think I'd like that kind of view...

Not to mention that special tingle in your loins that only a few thing can give you. It's been a long time since I had a bike. I've owned 3 now but I was in my teens and 20's then. I'd love to do it again. Like you I am fairly close to work (3 miles) and there are 3 ways I can go. Throught the town square or around The Loop either direction. Damn I think I just may have to look into it. My wif is gonna kill you :-)

Yeah.. I'm all about tingley loins. I spent a good amount of time on the BMW web site, and I think I'll go check them out at a dealer. I'm too old for a Japanese crotch rocket, but the BMWs are sporty and refined.

I think if I just use it for local, and getting back and forth to work, it should be okay.

I love BMWs but currently I'm more into the deep rumble of a Harley (not a cruiser). Talk about tingley loins! I've never owned Harley but have ridden a few. I've owned two Hondas and a Suzuki. I don't think I'll ever go Japanese again.

We just bought a triumph and went for a long ride. Big mistake, it's too fucking hot for that. If you need any accessosries for that new bike, remember your sister owns a cycle shop!!

It's going to be a few months.. I think maybe this spring when it starts to warm up that I'll buy one, but definately will be ringing you up for some gear.

Thanks!
