LOS ANGELES - The former national finance director for Hillary Rodham Clinton's Senate campaign was acquitted Friday of lying to the government about a lavish 2000 Hollywood fundraising gala.I find that highly amusing. What will be in the news a great deal is the Republican coin-gate scandal in Ohio. People are going to jail over that one. Oh look.. 10 to 12 million are missing... Imagine that.
David Rosen was charged with two counts of making false statements to the Federal Election Commission.
Clinton was not charged, but Republicans closely monitored the trial, hoping fallout from it might damage the New York Democrat's 2006 re-election bid and scuttle any hopes for a possible presidential campaign in 2008.
And the latest polling shows Hillary is the front runner.
For the first time, a majority of Americans say they are likely to vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton if she runs for president in 2008, according to a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday. It's going to be awesome to watch the heads of all the freepers explode when she gets elected.
The survey shows that the New York senator and former first lady has broadened her support nationwide over the past two years, though she still provokes powerful feelings from those who oppose her.
** update **
I noticed something a couple days ago. The blogger people have fixed the problem where the bottom portion of a post could get eaten when you click "preview". I'm still saving my text into notepad as a precaution, but since then, I haven't seen blogger eat a post. It's also publishing fast today.
I wonder.. maybe it's not going to suck ass anymore? Good news Friday..
