Everything about hard rock and heavy metal comes from Black Sabbath. Their style was unheard of when they formed in 1968, and virtually everything about them was controversial. They didn't care.

Ozzy has to rank in the top 5 rock and roll singers of all time, both by his performances and influence. Maybe I should post weekly videos of who I think the top 5 are. Ozzy is a good place to start.

These guys are 60 years old. It's just unbelievable. John and I went to see them a couple of years ago, during the "The Osbourne's" tv show days. In the show he seemed barely coherent and about to pass out at any moment. When he comes out on stage, he takes command of the crowd and has an energy that would rival any 20 year olds. It seems to Ozzy, the world is fucked up everywhere but on the stage with a band.
