Naturally, the basic problem is religion. Christians always have to have a target of their condemnation, otherwise they'd have to confront the moral sewer they exist in.
It's always funny when one of the Loon Brigade has to confront one of these types of issues in their own family. Some suddenly see the light, and some (Alan Keyes) simply descend further into their own sewer of depravity.
Dick Cheney is still a scumbag for not allowing his daughter and her partner on the stage during the Republican convention. It's always easy to do the right thing when it doesn't require any courage at all.
