Wil Wheaton (I do admit I like his name) had lost his dog to cancer a while back, and he's recently adopted that beastie.
There's something to be said for a pure bred puppy.. and obviously a lot of great dogs need adopting. We have one of each.
And yes, that's a picture of the Love Boat cast on the table next to him. Dude.. is.. ya..
Oh, and ya.. cats are awesome also. I'm just allergic as fuck to cats now, which developed in my 30s... otherwise we'd have a cat too. I wish science could permanently cure allergies.
....
And that reminds me.. there's 2 things we need to get. We need a high quality still frame camera, and we need an HD video recorder. The cell phone just isn't going to cut it.

These days a good DSLR will cover off both of those needs, you just need to cram it with enough flash storage to record something of decent length.
Also your Wheaton crush (Crush.. huh huh, get it?) is amusing.
