So ya.. he looks like a Cylon now. We're taking him to a new groomer that seems to know how to do a traditional Wheaten groom. It's going to take a while for his "fall", the hair that grows forward from just above his eyebrows, to grow out. He will look very different.. but you know.. if we don't like it, we'll just have them cut it off and have him look like he used to.
I have a feeling it's going to be pretty cool. To say his fur is soft would be an understatement. It's just silky.
He'll look more like this.. but the hair on his body is straighter then these dogs. There are a few different varieties of coats for Wheaten Terriers.
