Worst President Ever

It's getting to be lol-tastic;

President Obama is pressing congressional leaders to consider a far-reaching debt-reduction plan that would force Democrats to accept major changes to Social Security and Medicare in exchange for Republican support for fresh tax revenue. . . . As part of his pitch, Obama is proposing significant reductions in Medicare spending and for the first time is offering to tackle the rising cost of Social Security, according to people in both parties with knowledge of the proposal. The move marks a major shift for the White House and could present a direct challenge to Democratic lawmakers who have vowed to protect health and retirement benefits from the assault on government spending.

Who knew we elected a right wing freak?

I kind of doubt it'll get through the house.

Prez knows he is in trouble and is trying to pander to both sides. I tried to cut Medicare but was voted down...hey, there are people on disability now that are holding full time jobs and living a pretty good lifestyle. I know two personally that are out there working away and drawing disability with no medical costs whatsoever. Unemployment benefits on steroids.

He doesn't think "he is in trouble". He knows he's going to get re-elected easily. His money advantage is massive.. probably the largest gap between incumbent and challenger in the history of presidential elections.

Obama isn't "pandering to both sides", he's pandering to wall street and the corporate culture. He's doing these things because he wants to, not because it's politically necessary.

If there is someone on disability and working a full time job, that's called fraud. Just because some people abuse the system does not mean the system isn't worth while.
