Personally, I do not care what people do behind closed doors. As other users have stated, I am tired of the homosexual community wanting to force their agenda on us. Only 2 out of 100 people in this country have identified themselves as homosexuals. Why are we even coddling to this group? If they want to do whatever in the privacy of their own homes, more power to them. I cannot and will not be subjected to their thoughts and lifestyle, period. I find their sexual behavior to be religously and morally wrong. However, will I help them in their time of need? Will I offer them advice? Yes. Do I "hate" them? No. Hate the sin, love the sinner. I will not discriminate against them and wish them no ill will whatsoever. I am very sick and tired of being clubbed over the head with the homosexual message and being asked to accept what they do as normal. Will I tell them I think what they do is wrong? Yes. Will I tell them that I believe they will go to Hell? Yes. But, again, this does not make me "homophobic". My beliefs and lifestyle are different. I find it very alarming that the liberal media portrays someone like me as a "hate-monger" or "homophobe".
That's boilerplate Loon.
The article, of course, is about the fear and loathing of Teh Gay in professional sports. Some people think that simply being honest is an "agenda" and being "subjected to their thoughts and lifestyle".
I think that's great. I really do. I totally understand that, and I think it's totally the right point of view.. because I think exactly the same way about the religious freaks. I think they're immoral, superstition loving freaks, and I don't want to be subjected to any of their insanity.
As I've advocated for a long time, I think self segregation is a great thing. I have absolutely no desire to "change hearts and minds". I think their minds are rotted to the core, and the best defense against their bile is to not be near them, nor allowed to be affected by them.
I feel badly for some people who are forced to work (as a professional athlete does) in an oppressive environment. Some gay people think that if they all just "came out", it would force the other athletes to confront their own bigotry and then everything would be sunshine and puppies. Nah. You might enlighten a few people, but the cost isn't worth it. Better to keep quiet and take the paychecks.. and then later if you want, tell them that they were showering with homos all along.
Fact is, there's a lot of Jebus in pro sports. It's not going to change any time soon. Better is complete segregation in the ideological sides. I don't go to their churches, nor will you ever see me at say.. a rodeo. They can stay the fuck away from me. I will not "help them in their time of need". I'm not a hypocrite.
