“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” — Jesus Christ
Seems odd to me that a bunch of godless Liberals get that.. but the Jebus fluffers totally miss that point.
The only reason that middle class white people get a hard-on when cuts to the "welfare state" are proposed is because they think it's mostly lazy blacks that are on welfare. Religion has a built in disdain for those not alike, so it's always good to persecute the other guy.
This, of course, is why I'm quite comfortable not being a believer in silly religious superstitions. If it turns out that I'm wrong, then I can stand in front of Jesus and his pals and they'll know that I was far more christian than any of the jackasses you'll find in the Loon Brigade. I'm not worried a bit.

In unrelated news.. John Cole kicks Sullivan in his tiny balls. I email Sullivan to tell him what a pampered fuck-tard he is every so often, but I doubt it gets past his lackies.
Sullivan is only in the game to pander to the emo "center" - web site hits that pay for his P-Town dungeon. In the gay community, we call that a "bottom bitch".

This is hardly the only way in which the contradictory nature of these peoples philosophy sticks out like a sore thumb.
For instance when they start kicking and screaming about taxes you can busted out Matthew 22:21.
“Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”
Maybe a dash of John 18:36 when they carry on about how the U.S. was founded as a Christian nation without separation of church and state.
“My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world”
If Jesus was every a real person (crazy or not) and was around today... he’d be pretty damn upset with Doug and Co.
Damn... another typo. I think I'm developing some form of typing dyslexia.
