Yes, yes, I know, we don't have the votes to override a veto by Obama. But that is kind of the point. Push the bills to repeal health care, and then let Obama veto it. A week or two later, push another bill to repeal health care, and let him veto that one too. Make the Democrats own their mistakes. Make it so that the GOP can say "we tried to reverse it," so that when it all fails miserably, all fault lies with the Democrats.
Don't give Obama any opportunity to blame the GOP in 2012.
Do the same with the idiotic environmental legislation, and the idiotic Climate Change legislation, and so on and so forth. Make the Democrats own the misery.
And if the Republicans don't do this, then we need to hold their feet to the fire and remind them why we put them in office.

I keep telling you that the Democrats still control two thirds of the federal government. You even seem to understand that because of the tea bagging candidates for Senate, that chamber remains ruled over by the iron fist of Harry Reid.
So.. being a Constitutional scholar, Doug, how do you expect a bill to get to Obama's desk for a veto if it never makes it out of the Senate, eh?

The whole key to my Armageddon style strategy of gaining effective leadership in D.C. is for the Doug Gibbs of the country to rise up in righteous anger over the lack of being able to do anything about Obama. I think the vast majorities of the initiatives that Obama managed to get pushed through the Congress to this point are not very good (to say the least), but they incense they Loon Brigade simply because Obama got them passed. When they find out there's nothing they can do about it, even after their "massive wins" in the mid-terms, they'll go ape-shit and demand more tea bagging candidates.
The key is.. Americans need to vote them into office so we can have a few hundred little Sarah Palin's and Michelle Bachmann's running around, completely whacked out of their minds crazy, recreating the middle ages in America.
It really is the only way to dig ourselves out of this hole in a reasonable time frame.

Today, Doug did one of those posts where he rips me for some weird transgression that his paranoia filled mind created for him.. instead of actually quoting me and arguing against my point.
I wish there was a word that was stronger than "coward", because it doesn't convey strongly enough how big a pussy Doug is for deleting off other people's words and arguing against his interpretation of what they said instead.
