Doug is claiming that the Republican gains in the House is a "complete rejection of the Obama Agenda", so I guess that means that Murietta is speaking, and it's looking like a complete rejection of the (Doug) Gibbs' agenda, and the tea bagging right nutzoid policies.
But hey.. gotta give him some props for throwing his hat in the ring, even if it did get thrown back at him. Lucky for Doug though, it looks like the city is going to implement term limits for city council and cut the pay for council members as well. This will ensure the qualified and respected people that the citizens wish to retain are not eligible to run... and that other professionals will not even consider running because the pay is not competitive.
"You want fries with that?" might just become a campaign slogan in the next election.

I don't understand the "constitutuional" argument for term limits - because it is government fettering the will of the people.
And now we get to it - Doug knows what's best for me and everyone else.
Of course. That's the whole foundation upon which every thing else rests.. he knows what's best for us. That's the crux of religion, right? So when he says he's "constantly" got Jesus on his mind, he's really saying that he's constantly trying to save us from ourselves. That really is the motivating factor behind everything.
I think at this point, everyone pretty much understands why people like Doug do what they do.. I'm just curious the mechanism behind it. There has to be some biology behind their inability to comprehend who is doing the finger pointing.
