Jackass of the Day

This buffoon;

[I]n 2006, [Washington State Supreme Court justice Richard B. Sanders] signed an opinion denying marriage equality to gay couples—because they have “more sexual partners” and because other courts have found that monogamy is “the bedrock upon which our culture is built.” Meanwhile, he’s been divorced twice, and this election season it became clear he has multiple simultaneous girlfriends. He doesn’t see anything inconsistent in any of that.

It seems odd to me that a person that logically incoherent could not only become a judge, but actually pass the bar. Maybe Skuld isn't lying.. lol

Thing is.. whether you've only had sex with 1 person, or a million, it doesn't prevent heteros from getting married. That's a stupid basis for a ruling.. and "monogamy" isn't required of heterosexual marriage either. All you need for a marriage is 2 people of legal age who agree they want to be married. That's it... and why those 2 people want to get married is nobody's business.

He simply couldn't find any rational basis to deny same-sex couples marriage, so he made shit up that even he can't live up to. That makes him a jackass.

He is right about one thing though. Gay people do have way more sexual partners than straight people. This is because guys don't see sex as a reward, or as a way to gain leverage. If straight women had the same view of sex as straight men, then it would obviously balance out that discrepancy.

That's one of the reasons why I like to say that being gay is better than being straight. If you want to get laid, just for the fun of it, it's not very hard at all. And you don't even have to pretend to give a shit about them or buy dinner.

Personally.. John did buy dinner on the first date. He got his money's worth though.
