The Land of the Stupid

So, naturally, the Taliban is back in Afghanistan, and imposing their bullshit laws on people and murdering them.

Many thousands of people are dead, because some assholes thought that the American military could do what had never been done before. Afghanistan will go back to the way it was before our military got there.. with the exception of lots of dead people, including American soldiers that died for absolutely no reason what-so-ever.

None.. nada.. zip.

There will be no consequences for what happened. There will be no guilt. There are tens of thousands of names on the Vietnam War Memorial, of wasted lives, having done the same exact thing.

It seems odd to me that this keeps happening over and over. And like with Viet Nam.. nobody will give a fuck.
