MSNBC Out Foxing

It's odd.. but MSNBC in the morning is another version of Faux News.

They've got some "panel" on, talking about economic issues.. the "bail-out", stimulus and so on. They're railing against it like a tea bagging party.

Unemployment has gone up? Ya.. but how much worse would it be without the stimulus? The failing is not getting the money into the economy a lot faster... not in the stimulus itself.

Bailing out very large financial institutions is "anti-capitalist"? Really?

The ripple effect of companies like AIG going bankrupt would have devastated our financial system. Even the Bush administration (who, remember, was responsible for the bail out) knew that.

The thing that's odd to me.. is these "shows" that have a bunch of rapid capitalist purists making claims with nobody else on the panel making the converse point. These jackasses aren't even economists.

By the way.. while we do have a capitalist/market economic system.. it's more of a hybrid of various economic systems, including Socialism.. It's not pure capitalism.

You would think that would be obvious to most people.

Oh.. and apparently the CIA should be able to do whatever it wants, with zero accountability, because to make sure they adhere to law would be putting the "country at risk"....

ugh.. this idiot hosing the "show" on MSNBC is railing against Supreme Court judges, and the judicial branch in general. He thinks that all issues should be addressed by elected officials in Congress.

He is so stupid that he doesn't even understand the 3 CO-EQUAL branches of government concept, and the role of the judiciary to keep the Congress in check and force legislation to adhere to the Constitution.

He is a very serious, very highly paid, political host on a national teevee program.. and he couldn't pass an 8th grade civics class.

That is America.
