Serial Liar

Doug Gibbs;

The Obama followers constantly remind us that Obama has high approval numbers. Heck, his poll numbers were sky-high even before he took office and did anything. Talk about blindly following an empty suit.

Now, the mainstream press is proclaiming Obama's first 100 days to be the most impressive start by any president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

You know Barack Obama, as narcisistic as he is, is eating it up.

Except, despite the bias by the media and the poll takers, Obama's approval rating is somehow the second worst among all president's first 100 days in the last 40 years.

Only Bill Clinton has had lower poll numbers by the end of his first 100 days.

According to Net Right Nation, Gallup's April survey puts Obama's approval rating at 56%. Reagan's first 100 days received a 67% approval rating. Hated George W. Bush's was 62% after the first 100 days in his first term, and 58% after the first 100 days of his second term. Yes, that is right, even after four years of being demonized by the Left, Bush was more popular after the first 100 days of his second term than Obama by two percentage points.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt.

But, hey, you lefties can go ahead and continue to blindly praise your messiah. Place him on his pedastool. Suckle from his socialized nipple designed to turn you into dependent peasants.

Oh, by the way, he ranks high among the most polarizing presidents. In fact, from what I've been reading, and noticing, he is the most divisive president on record. . . ever.

So, I checked the Gallup organization's web site for the polling data. Think Doug might be lying?

PRINCETON, NJ -- As President Barack Obama concludes his first 100 days on the job, Gallup Poll Daily tracking for the week of April 20-26 finds 65% of Americans approving of how he is doing and only 29% disapproving. Obama's average weekly job ratings have varied only slightly thus far, ranging from 61% to 67%.

The new president's approval rating at the 100-day mark is notable in that nearly all major demographic categories of Americans are pleased with his job performance, as evidenced by approval ratings above the majority level. Only in terms of political and ideological categories does Obama have a significant proportion of detractors; a majority of Republicans and self-described "conservatives" disapprove of his job performance.

I left a comment with that little tid-bit, but he'll delete it. He has nothing but completely making shit up to rely on.. but I'm disapointed he hasn't gone way over into scary crazy land.. I suppose that's a matter of perspective and some people could argue that he's been there a long time.. but I'm wanting to see the serious tin-foil hat, crazy-as-fuck, going to move into a Montana "compound" type stuff from him. That'll be much more enjoyable than the garden variety lying.

What Doug should have said was, according to an editorial in the Washington times, subsequently posted on net right nation, some dude says... blah blah blah I made shit up.

Thanks for setting the facts straight and linking the real numbers.

It appears Doug subscribes to the fact that, if it appears on the internets it must be true. Especially if it's on a conservative website.

The less inflamatory comment I left at the Loon's blog.. just for the recod.. coz you know.. it's bound for the delete key..

I see what you did. You took a Gallup poll that measured different categories, and you added together the percentages for "excellent" and "good", and then called that an "approval rating".

Don't you realize that poll did not measure approval ratings, and the one I linked specifically does?

Then you call me a "piece of work", when I actually reference the approval rating poll, instead of completely mis-stating what the poll you reference says? Not only that, but you don't even link it..

Read that poll you linked Doug.. see if it says anything about "approval rating".. Read the poll that I linked.. notice it says exactly what Obama's approval rating stands at.

You are the most dishonest individual I know... and the most cowardly.. Notice I don't delete anything you write on my blog.. but only platitudes get approved on yours.

Gallup Poll Daily tracking for the week of April 20-26 finds 65% of Americans approving of how he is doing and only 29% disapproving. And you will refuse to correct your post, nor even approve a dissenting comment which references the actual approval rating polling data.

And you will delete this comment.
