Need a Job

Hi.
I don't know if you have filled this position yet, but was wondering if you would be willing to hire me for a short time. My name is XXXX. I am a 41 year old single mother of two. I have a son going into college in the fall and my daughter will be a sophomore in HS.

In February of this year I was laid off. I am looking, but haven't found anything yet. I would like to find something to at least help pay the bills. We live close, which is an added plus! (I live in Murphy) I just spent the last 3 days helping a friend get her house cleaned and organized, so this is something I could do. I am also good with the clerical side of things. I have spent 6+ years as an Admin. I know excel quite well, and am very familiar with other computer programs.

While the DF/W area hasn't seen as much economic turmoil as some places, unemployment is high and jobs are scarce. There are a lot of good people that are simply running out of options.

Of course, the conservative response is "loser".. because in this world.. the natural consequence of winning is losing.. and I suppose that the "redistribution of wealth" is completely unfair to those fortunate ones, and this woman and her kids should be shopping for a nice tent city to move to.

In case I haven't said it before.. Conservatives are soulless assholes.. while at the same time claiming to be somehow "morally" superior to everyone else because they pray to some magic all-powerful deity in the sky.. A diety who basks in the horrors of this world, and even wishes these horrors for humanity.

The apps have come down to 2 candidates.. a middle aged woman that seems sane.. and an older gay guy on disability. His advantage is that he can't make much money because of the disability requirements, so he'll cost less.. plus, he won't freak at our Saturday Night Fine Orgying..
