Gunmen Kills Three Pittsburgh Police Officers PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) ―

A man opened fire on officers during a domestic disturbance call Saturday morning, killing three of them, a police official said.

Friends said 23 year-old Richard Poplawski feared the Obama administration was poised to ban guns.

Three officers were killed.

Loyal Loon Brigade members like Doug cause this.

Most people understand that the paranoid rantings of right wing lunatics is just garden variety lying.. but there are some people who actually believe it. Dangerous individuals like Doug keep escalating the rhetoric, and it's not particularly surprising that some innocent people are getting killed because of it.

I guarantee that that the Loons are not going to suddenly start dialing down the rhetoric. They will refuse to accept the responsibility for their contributions to the deaths of those officers. There is no doubt about that..

As they rage against their impotence, they'll do the exact opposite. They'll get more outrageous in their lies and slander.. and more people are going to die.

I'm a big fan of "free speech", but there are limits built into the law. Inciting to violence is one of those lines that the Constitution does not protect... but let there be no mistake. Good men are dying now.. and we know who is influencing the killers.
