Weird, but Conservatives are frothing about government spending in economic downturns, claiming that the New Deal was a failure.

It wasn't.

To Conservatives, economic stimulus is fine, as long as it comes with killing other human beings, rather than improving the major infrastructures of the nation and lowering unemployment.
