David Weigel at Slate, lays the smack down.
The inevitably deleted comment I left;
It's tin-foil hat territory.
Points of interest;
Hawaii issued a certificate of live birth for Obama, and has confirmed it's authenticity.
There was a 1961 newspaper announcement in Hawaii of his birth.
The claim that Obama's grandmother said she was present when he was born in Mombassa was done through a translator. The suit leaves out the rest of the transcript where the interviewer asks for clarification and when the language difficulty was resolved, they insisted repeatedly that Obama was born in Hawaii.
There is no record what-so-ever that Obama's mother ever travelled to Kenya.
...
The interesting thing here is that, like that fringe group, you keep insisting that somehow Obama "prove his eligibility for the presidency", when he has, in fact, already done so.
There is nothing else that needs to be done, because there is no real evidence that he wasn't born in Hawaii.
I think the far more amusing thing here is that some people are so flipped out over an Obama presidency, that they'll go to any lengths to try and prevent it. People (you) base their credibility on such whack-a-loon conspiracy theories over and over, without actually basing their viewpoints on anything truly substantive.
You should have somebody point out the difference between factual information (birth certificates, full transcripts, news paper publications) to Pam Geller instead of just presenting their conspiracy theory side of things without contest.
But that's not how you work Doug. In a sense.. it's kind of like a mini-Hannity situation you got going.. and while he used to have a farce of an Alan Colms.. you never even bothered to try and look more than a propagandist.

It worked in 2000 to take it to the Supreme Court but it appears from the news story today that they failed this time around. SC denied the case. Sidebar...Boston Legal dealt with a scenario where they argued to the Justices and it was hilarious but done in the manner in which those people on the court need to function. Good episodes if you missed them. Series finale.
I have some Boston Legal episodes recorded and unwatched. Busy month.. might not catch up on all the teevee for a while.
