The Rule of Doug

The Rule of Doug (and this is going to require some refinement I'm sure) states that when Doug writes a new post, it will either...

1. Accuse Democrats of being anti-American Communists that want us all to die
2. Accuse Barack Obama of being a terrorist
3. Hate on homos
4. Hate on Mexicans in the US
5. Connect another link to the "Rapture"
6. Accuse America of going down the toilet
7. Emphasize the need to kill more Muslims because we're about to be over-run by them
8. Insist any personal misfortune is a result of not being "self-reliant"
9. Make up a position nobody has (create a straw man) and argue against it
10. Make up facts out of thin air, with zero substance, and be completely wrong

I don't know how I missed it, but there's a classic example of #9 from a couple of weeks ago, where Doug makes up a bunch of unsubstantiated crap about Keith Olbermann.

To top it off, Doug throws in a bit of #1 and #7.. After all, the best Doug posts are when he uses a combination..

But, you see, Mr. Olbermann (and all of you liberals out there reading this), I reside in a world of reality where there is a ruthless enemy that could care less about what you wish for or desire. The enemy's utopia is much different than the utopia you envision. Their's is one in which you are dead, and America is ruled by Sharia Law.

I think maybe I'll use this list to rate Doug posts now.. the more of these items he uses, the better the score he'll get. If he gets a perfect 10, I'll award a Gold Star!!
